Re: Has school got you down?
Actually, I am very happy in school this year. I love math again, because my teacher made it so I could finnally understand what I am doing. History is great, I am like the smartest in my class, and I do well on all the projects. In language arts we do a lot of writing, and advanced language arts this year is a piece of cake so far. Science, our teacher is awesome, and hilarious. Choir, it could be better we switch teachers this year, but I'll deal. Lunch, finally no worries at lunch, we found a back up table. German, I rock at this class, I can finally speak in German, and have a real conversation. As of now I am taking one of my nine week classes Living Skills, and it is my worst subject I swear. I have my lowest grade ever (on anything) in that class and A-. It is because of that button sewing project I know it, but I plan on overcoming this class. I'll post other stories and info later ;D

I'm home educated, so at least I don't have to go through the process of SATS, etc. =D

Yay! I am not the only person that finds German hard. It is so difficult to make sentences.
I got an A in the writing coursework, a C in the speaking test and a D in the reading and listening test. Overlal, I got a C.

Re: Has school got you down?
What do you guys find so hard about German. It comes easy to me, but I guess we are all different. I also have been taking it for 3 years, that might be a factor in this equation.

You have been doing it shorter than me, I have been doing it for 4 years. I did get an A in the writing and my teacher said I will probably get a B overal for my GCSE exams. Anyway, I guess it is because I don't revise as much as I should.

Re: Has school got you down?
Ahh, I see. Well you aren't doing too bad, German can be tricky with what my teacher calls "cognots" instead of cognates (words that are alike). I get confused sometimes with basic actions such as macht an, and other such phrases.

Re: Has school got you down?
I would die to take French, but sadly I can't take it until high school. They pay for some college classes at my school. If you get good enough grades they will pay for a bunch of college classes, and you'll got to college instead of the high school.
